How do you provide a balance between quality and affordability?

Being an online shop and constantly optimizing our general organization allows us to provide some of the most competitive prices on the market.

How can you center my corrections right?

Just like any optician, we use your pupils' distance which we ask for when you order.

Each order is checked by a professional optician. If we feel that the pupillary distance you provide us is a little off, we will contact you and explain you how to take the best photo for us to work on with our facial recognition software.

What happens if my new glasses don't fit?

Once you order with Direct optic, you are the lucky beneficiary of our "100% satisfied or refunded/exchanged guarantee". You will therefore be able to choose between exchanging your glasses or receive a full refund upon return of you purchase.

How long will it take and how much is the shipping fee?

We offer two delivery options: standard and express.

Standard shipping:

  • France: 4.00€
  • Europe: 6.00€
  • Worldwide: 20.00€

Express shipping:

  • France: 7.00€
  • Europe: 10.00€

Can I order eyeglasses without correction or even just the frame?

You sure can. All you need to do is keeping all correction fields at 0 and we'll contact you to find out if you want actual ophthalmic lenses with anti-scratch and anti-reflective lenses or just demonstration lenses.

To ensure a faster processing time of your order, you can write in your order comments: real no corrections lenses or just frame with demonstration lenses.

I don't receive Direct Optic' emails.

What are your lenses' brands?

We work with several suppliers. We choose the best supplier depending on your needs:

  • Single vision lenses: Nikon - Dagas - Hoya - Hanmi Swiss
  • Reading lenses: Nikon
  • Progressive lenses: Essilor Varilux - Hanmi Swiss
  • Photochromic lenses: Transitions - Hanmi Swiss

Can I trust your lenses? Do they answer to standard norms?

We only provide high standard quality lenses which answer to international norms and printed with CE certification.

Do you sell sun lenses with corrections?

We sure do. You can choose any frame and lenses' type and change them into sunglasses. All you need to do is to choose the tint you like while placing your order. You can visit the section 'Selecting the Tint for your Lenses' of this website.

Do you provide anti-scratch and anti-reflective coatings?

All our lenses, without exception, come with free anti-scratch and anti-reflective coatings.

Do you sell eyeglasses with progressive lenses?

We do, except for frames with a vertical lens size under 26mm.

Your prescription

I don't understand my prescription and therefore I'm unsure how to fill up my order form. What should I do?

No worries, give us a call or send us an email and we'll explain you how to fill up your order according to your prescription.

Can you figure out my corrections with my current eyeglasses?

We can, please visit the section Replacing your Lenses. To be able to use that service, please contact us by email or phone prior to sending your eyeglasses.
